She is one of the few dancers who has studied this traditional dance and captured its authenticity. Grab your tarha and explore the Egyptian culture behind this fun and simplistic dance style. Amala will teach an original choreography for stage in a positive atmosphere with innovative movements. She will use traditional Nubian music and go over the instrumentation, rhythm, historical background, and appropriate costuming. Some dance experience recommended.
Please bring a short veil to wear and dance with.
